1. In July 2025, Hebei Agricultural University selected 11 outstanding college students to participate in summer exchange programs at Lingnan University in Hong Kong and Macau Polytechnic University. These two exchange programs are not only important practices for promoting the internationalization strategy of education at HEBAU, but also a platform for the college students to go global. As early as 2019, HEBAU established a friendly cooperative relationship with Lingnan University in Hong Kong, and its exchanges with Macau Polytechnic University have continued to deepen with the integration of education in the Greater Bay Area.
2. On July 22, 2025, 12 students from Hebei Agricultural University, went to Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal in Deutschland to participate in a dual degree program. Representatives of teachers from the college of International Education Exchange and the college of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at HEBAU went to Beijing Capital International Airport to bid farewell. This program aims to cultivate mechanical engineering talents with an international perspective and the integration of modern industrial elements. Students who go to Deutschland to complete their studies and meet the required standards can obtain degrees from both Hebei Agricultural University and Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal, as well as German engineer certificates.
3. On July 25, 2025, HEABU invited Dr. Friedrich Kragler to give an international academic presentation on modern agricultural biotechnology in the lecture hall of the Agricultural Science Building in the West Campus of HEABU. The “International Expert Series Presentations on Modern Agricultural Biotechnology” is an international academic exchange brand created by HEABU since 2023, and dozens of foreign experts would be invited to give academic presentations at HEABU every year.
4. On August 19, 2025, the Fifth National Teaching Innovation Contest for College Teachers, guided by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and hosted by the China Association of Higher Education, came to an end at Beijing Institute of Technology. The teaching team of HEBAU won one first prize and one third prize, and their comprehensive performance ranks among the top universities in Hebei Province. So far, HEBAU has won national level awards in this competition for five consecutive years, with a total of 12 awards, including 3 first prizes.
