Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Education of of the People's Republic of China announced the list of advanced collectives and individuals in the national education system in 2024. The College of Horticulture was awarded the title of "National Advanced Collective in the Education System", and Chen Hui, a professor from the College of Animal Science and Technology, was awarded the title of "National Excellent Teacher".

So far, three colleges of HEBAU have been awarded the title of "National Advanced Collective in the Education System", and four teaching faculty have been awarded the title of "National Excellent Teacher".
