On October 17th, the opening ceremony of the “Seminar on High Quality Development of Cross Border E-commerce of Food Distribution under the Global Development Initiative” , a foreign-aid training program sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by HEBAU, was held in Baoding. 24 scientific and technological professionals from Myanmar, Uganda, Cambodia, Türkiye and Cuba participated in the training. Professor Zhang Lijie, President of HEBAU, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Khin Soe Soe San from the Ministry of Rural Development in Myanmar delivered a speech as a representative of the participants.
This training course is the third foreign-aid training program undertaken by HEBAU this year. Participants will learn about the theory and practice about food industry and food e-commerce trade of China from multiple perspectives, understand China and experience Chinese culture via professional lectures, case studies, seminar exchanges and field visits. Since 2004, HEBAU has organized 34 short-term training programs and 2 degree education programs, training 889 students from 80 developing countries in Africa, Asia, South America, Eastern Europe and Oceania.
