On July 12th-August 12th, HEBAU selected three excellent undergraduate students to participate in a 4-week exchange program at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada.
The Vancouver Summer Program is a summer learning and training program open to international partner universities. This program includes courses such as Chemical and Biological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture and Landscape Architecture, Arts, Business, Education, Land and Food Systems, Medicine, Chemistry, Statistics and Data Science, Integrated Sciences etc. Three undergraduate students chose course packages that they were interested in and studied together with other students from different countries. They learned a lot of professional knowledge and innovative thinking via lectures, experiments, presentation of group, practical and innovative assignments and tests.
In addition, this program also includes rich field and corporate practices, extracurricular activities, and cultural experiences. Through one month of learning and practice, three undergraduate students expanded their international horizons, enhanced their communication with students from other countries, improved their practical skills and foreign language proficiency, and exercised their self-care ability and independent problem-solving ability.
