During the summer vacation, HEBAU held a variety of international exchange activities, including international academic presentations and seminars by high-end foreign experts, international basic course trainings, professional internship and experiments, and experiences of traditional Chinese culture.

On international exchange in cutting-edge disciplines, from July 4th to August 24th, five professors from world-class universities such as the University of Aberdeen in the UK, the Russian National Agricultural University, Lincoln University in New Zealand, the University of Barcelona in Spain, and the University of Sheffield in the UK visited HEBAU and completed 16 Bio-X international academic courses and 8 academic reports, covering interdisciplinary cutting-edge fields such as crop molecular breeding, soil improvement and remediation, artificial intelligence for life, proteomics, etc.

On international cultural exchange and experience, from August 12th to 24th, HEBAU held the first summer camp program and invited the delegation of young students from the sister university, the University of Hawaii at Manoa, to HEBAU for exchange. During this period, the delegation members engaged in various interactive activities with teachers and students of HEBAU, including traditional Chinese cuisine making, insect specimen exhibitions, rural revitalization achievements visit, as well as cultural experience activities such as traditional Chinese calligraphy, musical instruments, dance, architecture, and pottery.

During their stay in HEBAU, foreign experts and young foreign students visited State Key Laboratory of North China Crop Improvement and Regulation, Agricultural Museum, and the Agricultural Innovation Station, etc., and gained a deep understanding about the long century history and educational philosophy of HEBAU.
