On May 28th to June 1st, four teaching staff and one postdoctoral fellow of HEBAU were invited to participate in the "2024 International Training Course on Modern Greenhouse Horticulture Technology". The training course was jointly organized by Beijing-Wageningen Agricultural Technology Innovation Center and Wageningen University, Netherlands.

It invited Professor Leo Marcelis, Director of the Department of Horticulture and Product Physiology at Wageningen University, Professor Gerben Messelink from the Entomology Laboratory and Greenhouse Horticulture Research Center, Dr. David Katzin, a researcher at the Greenhouse Horticulture Research Center, and other experts on greenhouse horticulture. They systematically taught the trainees in five aspects including the Greenhouse Horticulture, Nutritional Physiology and Management Techniques of Greenhouse Horticultural Plants, Ecological Based IPM knowledge for Pest and Disease Control, Yield Physiology and Management of Horticultural Crops, and Thermal Performance and Environmental Optimization Management of Horticultural Greenhouses via professional lectures, case studies and seminars.
