On April 24, the "International Talent Training Project on Water-Saving and Salinity-Resistance Crops in Hebei Province" of HEBAU was approved. This project, funded by CSC, will select faculty members from disciplines including Crop Science, Horticulture, Forestry, Food Science and Engineering, Agricultural Resources and Environment to visit world-top universities, such as Wageningen University in the Netherlands, the University of British Columbia in Canada, Lincoln University in New Zealand, and the University of Tsukuba in Japan as visiting scholars every year. The project aims to enhance support for the regional coordinated development in China, meet the needs of local economic and social development, and help to build first-class universities and disciplines.
