On January 11, 2024, according to updated ESI data, the discipline of Engineering, HEBAU, entered the top 1% of ESI (the global ranking system) for the first time. The statistical time span is from January 1, 2013 to October 31, 2023. There are 318 WOS papers with a total citation of 3735 times and an average frequency of 11.75 times, including 8 papers in high frequency of citation. In this issue of ESI, there are 9055 globally shortlisted institutions, and HEBAU ranks 2772, with a ranking of 30.6%, an increase of 315 places compared to January 2023.
