HEBAU got a recent approval from the China Scholarship Council(CSC) of "Hebei Rural Revitalization Applied International Talent Training Project" for the second time. The program targets at training talents for rural revitalization for excellent masterial cadidates and faculty in the areas of crop science, horticulture, plant protection, forestry, agricultural resources and environment, animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, food science and engineering, bioengineering, agricultural engineering, biology, agricultural and forestry economic management and other related majors of HEBAU, supporting 5 masterial cadidates and 1 visiting scholar each year for joint training or cooperative research of HEBAU and an overseas universtiy, including the University of British Columbia in Canada, Lincoln University in New Zealand, Vakhningen University in the Netherlands, Tsukuba University in Japan, Swedish Agricultural University, Peisai University in Korea, or Segde University in Hungary to complete 12 months. For three-years duration, the program is expected to start application in April, 2023 and dispatch before the end of 2024.

Focusing on and serving for the national rural revitalization strategy, the program is specifically set to cultivate application-oriented talents with international visions in the short-handed and weak areas of China.
