On September 8, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) announced the list for partial programs approved in 2022. 42 of HEBAU were approved, with direct funds of 17.14 million yuan, an increase of 5.74% over the same period in 2021. The number of programs and funds ranked third in Hebei. Since 2018, new breakthroughs have been achieved successively.

Among the approved programs, there is one “Outstanding Youth Science Fund Program”, which is a new leap in the history of HEBAU. There are 12 general programs and 29 Youth Science Fund Programs. There are 39 items in the Life Science Department, accounting for 92.86%, One item in the Chemical Science Department, accounting for 2.38%, and Two items in the Earth Science Department, accounting for 4.76%.

In recent years, HEBAU has attached great importance to the application and approval of national fund programs, and built an internal expert database for fund application to improve the quality of application forms in an all-round way.
