In recent days, the results of the Mathematical Contest in Modeling 2017 were issued on the official website. The students from the College of Science, Hebei Agricultural University (HEBAU) got an Honorable Mention and a Successful Participant, respectively.

The Mathematical Contest in Modeling was sponsored by the American Consortium for Mathematics and Its Application. It is a large-scale science contest at international level and it is one of the earliest mathematical contests in modeling up to date. The Contest is carried out by the team, which is composed of 3 participants, who should be undergraduates. They should finish all the work relating to the modeling establishment, problem solution, verification and paper writing to the problems designated within four days. This Contest is on from January 20 to 24, 2017. The participants are from the famous universities like Harvard University, Princeton University, the United States Military Academy at West Point, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Tsinghua University, Beijing University and so on in 19 countries and regions such as the US, the P.R. China, the UK, Australia and others.
