A Series of International Exchange Activities Conducted in HEBAU
近日，我校开展了系列国际交流活动，先后邀请6所国外高校的专家教授访问我校。
Recently, HEBAU has conducted a series of international exchange activities and successively invited experts and professors from 6 oversea universities to visit HEBAU.
10月26日，德国宾根工业大学校长克劳斯•贝克、尼尔斯泰因市、宾根市政府及企业相关代表一行11人访问我校。校长申书兴，副校长李彤出席，生命科学学院、机电工程学院负责人参加相关活动。申书兴陪同代表团参观了我校校史馆、图书馆、太行山道路文化园和现代农业实习实训中心，深入介绍了我校教学服务地方经济发展，科学研究与产业紧密结合的办学特色和丰硕成果。代表团对我校美不胜收的校园环境，青春向上的精神面貌，特色鲜明的办学佳绩印象深刻，赞不绝口。宾根工业大学代表团就师生交流合作、中外合作办学项目与生命科学学院和机电工程学院达成了初步合作意向。
On October 26, Prof. Dr. Klaus Becker, Rector of FH Bingen（University of Applied Sciences), German, 11 representatives from the municipal governments and enterprises of Nierstein City and Bingen City, German, visited HEBAU. President Shen Shuxing and Vice President Li Tong attended the activity, and heads of the College of Life Science and College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering participated in related activities. Shen Shuxing accompanied the delegation to visit the Historical Museum, library, Cultural Park of Taihang Mountain Road and modern agricultural practice and training center of HEBAU, and in depth, introduced the characteristics of running HEBAU and rich achievements of serving local economic development through education and the close combination of scientific research and industry. The delegation was deeply impressed by the beautiful campus environment, youthful spirit and distinctive achievements in running the university and reached preliminary cooperation intention with the College of Life Sciences and the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering on faculty and students exchange programs and Sino-Foreign cooperative programs on national level.
10月25日，美国达特茅斯学院生物科学系罗伯逊•麦克朗教授到访我校并作了芸薹属作物内源性生物钟研究领域学术报告。校长申书兴教授亲切接见来访客人，并颁发河北农业大学特聘教授证书。申书兴高度赞赏麦克朗教授在植物内源性生物钟调控机制研究领域取得的重大成就，同时简要介绍了我校发挥自身教育科技资源优势，助力区域农业发展的情况。双方共同展望了今后的合作前景，在联合培养博士研究生和共同承担科研项目方面达成合作意向。会后，麦克朗教授与园艺学院蔬菜遗传育种团队进行了座谈，在开展蔬菜作物内源生物钟调控机制研究方面提出了建议和合作设想。
On October 25, Prof. C Robertson McClung from the Department of Biological Sciences, Dartmouth College, USA, visited HEBAU and delivered an academic report on “the study of the endogenous body clock of brassica crops”. Prof. Shen Shuxing, President of HEBAU, warmly received him and awarded him the certificate of Distinguished Professor of Hebei Agricultural University. Shen Shuxing highly appreciated Prof. McClung's great achievements in the research of the regulation mechanism of endogenous biological clock in plants, and also briefly introduced HEBAU advanced the development of regional agriculture by utilizing the advantages of educational and scientific resources. The two sides looked forward to the future prospects of cooperation and reached the intention of cooperation in jointly training doctoral students and undertaking scientific research programs. After the meeting, Prof. McClung had a discussion with the vegetable genetics and breeding team from the College of Horticulture, HEBAU, and put forward some suggestions and cooperative ideas on the research of the regulation mechanism of endogenous biological clock of vegetable crops.
10月28日，美国东肯塔基大学商业与技术学院院长汤姆斯•埃瑞克森、教育学院院长雪莉•鲍尔斯、系主任金尼•菲尔访问我校，副校长赵邦宏接待来访客人。代表团与经济管理学院、外国语学院、人文与社会科学学院就本科双学位、硕士联合培养、博士学位教师培养、创新创业短期项目的合作与实施达成意向。今年3月该校校长迈克尔•贝森带队曾访问我校并与我校签署了合作备忘录。美国东肯塔基大学建于1906年，前身为肯塔基州师范学院，被评为美国南部最佳公立大学之一，通过了国际商管学院促进发展协会(AACSB)、美国国家教师教育认证协会(CAEP) 、美国公共政策分析与管理学会 (NSPPAA) 等多项认证。
On October 28, Thomas Erickson, Dean of the College of Business and Technology of Eastern Kentucky University(EKU), USA; Sherry Powers, Dean of the College of Education, EKU, USA and Ginni Fair, Director of the College of Education visited HEBAU. Prof. Zhao Banghong, Vice President of HEBAU received the delegation. Two parties reached cooperative intentions with the College of Economics and Management, the College of Foreign Languages and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences on the dual bachelor degrees program, joint training program for master degree, faculty training for doctorate degree and short-term programs for innovation and entrepreneurship. On March 2019, a delegation of EKU, led by President of EKU, Michael T. Benson visited HEBAU and signed a Memo with HEBAU. East Kentucky University, founded in 1906, was formerly known as Kentucky Normal College, which is rated as one of the best public universities in the south of the United States and has been accredited by AACSB, CAEP and NSPPAA.
10月15日，美国特洛伊大学学术副校长兰斯•泰特姆、副国际事务校长苏海尔•雅各伯特瓦拉一行来我校访问，副校长李存东代表学校出席了相关活动。来访客人参观了现代农业实习实训中心及农学、园艺学院实验室，高度评价我校的办学特色和办学水平。双方就生命科学、食品科学本科双学位和本硕连读项目的合作前景展开会谈，并探讨了中外合作办学的可能性。特洛伊大学建校于1887年，是一所公立院校，被评为美东南十二州顶级大学，全美最优公立院校之一。
On October 15, Lance Tatum, Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of Troy University, and Sohail Agboatwala, Vice Chancellor for International Affairs visited HEBAU. Prof. Li Cundong, Vice President of HEBAU, attended relevant activities on behalf of HEBAU. The delegation visited the modern agricultural practice and training center and the labs of the College of Agronomy and the College of Horticulture. The two sides held talks on the prospects of cooperation in the dual bachelor's degree programs and the liaison bachelor-master degree program with the College of Life Science and the College of Food Science and Technology and explored the possibility of Sino-Foreign cooperative program or institute on national level. Founded in 1887, Troy University is a public institute, which is rated as one of the top university in 12 southeast states and one of the best public higher institutes in the United States.
10月17日，意大利巴勒莫美术学院校长马里奥•齐托带队来我校艺术学院访问，副校长李存东代表学校接待来访客人。双方就视觉传达设计专业中外合作办学项目展开会谈，并确定了部分合作协议细节。会后，代表团参观了艺术学院学生水墨画作品展以及教学工作室。齐托校长对我校学生主题性艺术作品赞不绝口，认为作品内容丰富，富有审美情趣，充满了中国文化艺术自信。巴勒莫美术学院成立于1780年，位于意大利西西里大区，是一所拥有两百多年历史的意大利国立美术学院。下设视觉艺术系、应用艺术与设计系、传播与艺术教育系。
On October 17, a delegation led by ZITO MARIO, Director of Accademia di belle arti DI PALERMO, Italy, visited the College of Arts, HEBAU. The two sides held talks on the Sino-Foreign joint program in Visual Communication Design and finalized some details in cooperative agreement. After the meeting, the delegation visited the exhibition of students' ink paintings and teaching studios. Director ZITO MARIO highly praised students' thematic art works, which are diversified in content, rich in aesthetic taste, and demonstrated confidence in Chinese culture and art. Founded in 1780, Accademia di belle arti DI PALERMO is an Italian public academy of fine arts with a history of more than 200 years, which is composed of the Department of Visual Arts, Applied Art and Design, Broadcast and Art Education.
10月22日，英国曼切斯特城市大学科学与工程学院国际事务副院长凯斯•弥勒、李红副教授、国际办公室理查德•威尔逊带队来我校访问。在参观我校工程实验实训中心后，代表团与信息科学与技术学院、机电工程学院确定了2+2双学位项目和4+1本硕联合培养项目合作细节及工作计划。英国曼切斯特城市大学成立于1824年，1992年由曼切斯特技术学院改建为大学，办学规模位居英国第二，分设七个学院，在校生三万余人。
On October 22, a delegation of Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), United Kingdom, visited HEBAU. The members of the delegation are Keith Miller, Head of International Affairs, Faculty of Science and Engineering; Li Hong, associate professor of Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering and Richard Wilson, International Partnerships Manager, International Office. Following the tour of the Engineering Experiment and Training Center of HEBAU, the delegation worked out the cooperation details and work plan of the 2 + 2 dual degree program and the 4 + 1 bachelor-master degree liaison program with the College of Information Science and Technology and the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Manchester Metropolitan University was founded in 1824. In 1992, it was converted from Manchester Technological College into a university, ranking the second in the UK in terms of scale, which is composed of 7 colleges and more than 30,000 students are enrolled.
