From June 9 to 11, Hebei Agricultural University (HEBAU) held the 2026 Graduation Ceremony and Degree Conferral Ceremony respectively at the Baoding Campus, Cangzhou Campus and Qinhuangdao Campus, bidding farewell to over 10,000 graduates as they embarked on new journeys and opened new chapters in life. University leaders Zhang Lijie, Zhao Jianjun, Ke Shaoying, Liu Jingjun, Sang Yaxin, Xia Zhixue, Zhang Qingsong, Zhou Chunjiang and Zhang Guolei attended the ceremonies. Party Secretary Zhang Lijie formally commissioned the graduating class, while President Zhao Jianjun, Chair of the University Degree Evaluation Committee, delivered an inspiring address to the graduates. Vice Presidents Xia Zhixue and Zhang Guolei presided over the ceremonies. University leaders presented graduation certificates to student representatives. President Zhao Jianjun personally presented degree certificates to graduating representatives and turned the tassel on their academic caps— a symbolic gesture marking their transition from degree candidate to formal graduate.
Following the formal ceremonies, a heartfelt graduation gala unfolded, featuring a rich and diverse array of performances presented by university faculty and students. One hundred student representatives honored their educators through traditional Chinese rites to express gratitude, paying tribute to years of dedicated mentorship and academic guidance.
In the most moving moment of the evening, thousands of wish balloons — each carrying dreams and aspirations — were released into the sky, rising together as a collective symbol of hope and new departure.
The entire graduating class then joined in a unified rendition of the graduation song, its melodic echoes lingering across the campus and uniting the whole community in shared tender emotion.
The event was also joined by members of HEBAU’s Degree Evaluation Committee, heads of administrative departments and colleges, and faculty representatives, gathering all core stakeholders of the university to witness this milestone moment for the graduating cohort.
