NEW 1: HEBAU Holds Opening Ceremony of 2nd Sports & Culture Festival and Campus Running Event

On April 9, the opening ceremony of the Second Sports & Culture Festival, and the Campus Running Event, were held at the West Campus of Hebei Agricultural University. This year’s festival, themed ‌"Rooted in the Taihang Mountains, Inheriting the Spirit of Yu Gong, Strengthening Body and Will, Igniting Youth," ‌features a diverse competition system integrating sports, fun games, and intellectual interactions. The Campus Running, as the highlight event, attracted ‌1,240 faculty and student representatives‌ from 19 colleges and 28 faculty and staff sub-unions of Hebei Agricultural University, showcasing a vibrant and determined spirit.

NEW 2: HEBAU Hosts 2026 Spring Campus Recruitment Fair‌
On April 16, Hebei Agricultural University hosted the ‌2026 Spring Campus Recruitment Fair‌ at the stadium of the west campus. The event attracted ‌610 high-quality employers‌ from 24 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China, covering 17 industries including agriculture, construction, machinery, IT, biomedicine, and education technology. Notable attendees included ‌PowerChina, China Communications Construction Company, Tianjin Food Group, Sinochem Hebei Co., Ltd., and Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group‌—multiple enterprises ranked among the ‌"China Top 500" or "Industry Top 500"‌. A total of ‌16,000 job positions‌ were offered, fully covering all majors and academic levels at the university, providing graduates with a broad platform for employment opportunities.

NEW 3: The 1st Session of the 8th Faculty and Staff Congress Successfully Convenes

On April 23, the first session of the Eighth Faculty and Staff Congress of Hebei Agricultural University was held in the auditorium of the Comprehensive Building, East Campus. The congress adopted resolutions on the university's work report, discussed the university’s “15th Five-Year Plan” and financial work report, and approved the list of members of the Executive Committee and the list of members of the Proposal Working Committee of the Eighth Faculty and Staff Congress. More than 220 formal representatives, 32 attending representatives, and 20 special guests from various posts across the university participated in the congress.

NEW 4: HEBAU Launches 1st Taihang Aesthetic Education and Culture Festival‌
From April 27 to 30, the first Taihang Aesthetic Education and Culture Festival‌, themed ‌"Art Inheriting · Origin Awakening"‌, was held at the East Campus. The event emphasized ‌"education through beauty, transformation through beauty, and cultivation through beauty"‌, featuring four major sections: ‌"Rooting and Soul-Building," "Rural Revitalization," "Design for Good," and "Design for the Nation."‌ A special ‌"Handcraft Heritage · Craftsmanship Inheritance"‌ experiential zone was also launched. Over 2,000 participants attended, including representatives from the student recruitment bases, corporate partners, distinguished alumni, and faculty and students from various colleges. The exhibited works showcased students’ professional skills and artistic creativity, reflecting the deep integration of specialized instruction with aesthetic education. Guests jointly attended the student graduation performance and toured the design exhibition, painting exhibition, and interactive art zones, immersively experiencing the rich outcomes of the aesthetic education of Hebei Agricultural University.
