On January 8, Clarivate Analytics released the latest Essential Science Indicators(ESI) data statistics (covering the period from January 2015 to October 2025), showing that the Materials Science discipline of Hebei Agricultural University has entered the global top 1% of ESI rankings for the first time.

Statistics indicate that the Materials Science discipline of Hebei Agricultural University has published 338 papers with a total of 8,881 citations, averaging 26.28 citations per paper, including 4 papers selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers.

Materials Science has become the sixth discipline at Hebei Agricultural University to enter the global top 1% of ESI rankings, following Agricultural Sciences, Plant and Animal Science, Chemistry, Environment and Ecology, and Engineering. Additionally, the rankings of all previous top 1% disciplines at Hebei Agricultural University have improved in this period, particularly Agricultural Sciences and Plant and Animal Science, which have entered the top 1.9‰ (ranked 269th among 1,429 selected disciplines) and the top 2.3‰ (ranked 462nd among 2,018 selected disciplines), respectively.
