The College of Food Science and Technology and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Establish "3+2" Education Cooperation Program

Recently, at the invitation of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Hawaii, a delegation led by Prof. Wang Jie, Dean of the College of Food Science and Technology,  paid a visit to the two universities of the United States.

During the visit to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the United States, the two universities signed “A Cooperative Education Program Agreement between the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, USA and Hebei Agricultural University”. According to the program agreement, students from the majors of Food Science and Technology, Food Nutrition and Safety, Bioengineering and Food Packaging Engineering, the College of Food Science and Engineering, HEBAU, participating in the program, complete 3 years study in HEBAU, and will study in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for the next two years. The qualified students will be awarded a bachelor's degree and graduation diploma of HEBAU and master's degree of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

  During the delegation’s visit to the University of Hawaii, they also reached an agreement with the university on intention of "3+2" joint cultivation of cooperation.
