A Cooperative Agreement Signed between Hebei Agricultural University, China and The University of New South Wales, Australia

 

  On Sept. 21, a cooperative agreement between Hebei Agricultural University (HEBAU), China and the University of New South Wales, Australia was signed. The signing ceremony was presided by Wang Tingshan, Vice Director of Hebei Provincial Education Department. Vice President Gao Baojia, on behalf of HEBAU signed the cooperative agreement with the representative of the University of New South Wales, which focuses on the development of multiple cooperative programs like students joint education, teachers exchange, research and so on.

 

  The University of New South Wales, is one of the top eight universities (Group Eight) in Australia, ranking the 45th in the latest QS World University Rankings (2017-2018). It is a comprehensive research university. The establishment of the cooperative relationship between the two universities shows the HEBAU’s school-running capability and indicates the further improvement of HEBAU’s internationalized school-running level.

 

  In the Agreement, the colleges of the University of New South Wales, relating to students exchange programs, are College of Architecture and Environment, College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Sciences and College of Arts. The students in relevant majors of HEBAU, who have passed CET Band 6 can apply for the study (duration of the 4th year) in the University of New South Wales. Those who are with qualified academic records can get prior admission. Up to date, three students of HEBAU have benefited from this program.

  Those who have participated in the above-mentioned activities are responsible persons from the International Cooperation and Exchange Division of Hebei Provincial Education Department, International Education Exchange Service Center of Hebei Province and International Cooperation Office of HEBAU.
